Job Specifications
LABORER
Laborers work with employees in a team environment to accomplish tasks and deliver projects. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all functions necessary to produce precast product efficiently and safely with direction from Kie-Con management and supervisory staff.
Responsibilities
- Be punctual and reliable on a daily basis
- Follow direction provided by supervision and other experienced team members
- Stripping and cleaning forms
- Preparing forms
- Preparing and installing rebar or reinforcing wire
- Layout and securing of appropriate embeds and appurtenances
- Placing and finishing concrete in forms
- Ensuring tools and work areas are clean during the day and at the end of each shift
- Material and product movement with cranes and other equipment
- Finish product in an attractive manner free of cracks and imperfections
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules
- Other related duties as required by supervision
- Must be 18 years or older

Physical Requirements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to work in an industrial plant environment.
- Physically capable of heavy concrete construction for a sustained period of 8-10 hours per day.
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, Monday through Friday, with some overtime work required including some Saturdays.
- Required to wear a hard hat, boots, gloves, and safety glasses while working in our plant and/or in the yard.
